Gonna be out of action for a while. My car got wrecked and I'm having to do a lot of overtime to work towards a new one. should be back after the first of the year.

I got around to getting a new HP laptop so new art is in the making. I thought I wouldn't like Vista but so far the experience has been a good one especially since it works with my Wacom.

I think I've broken the dry spell. I have tons of new ideas and will be putting them up on DA soon. Still got to get that new laptop but I hope I can do that by Fri.

Sometimes I wonder.

I just can't seem to get this picture right. Thor is giving me some hard times so it might be another day before i get it done. It might be that I'm trying too hard to make it realistic and not using my own style as much as I should.

Deeper down the rabbit hole.

It would seen that the more artwork I post online the more good things happen. For example I was just invited to a ThunderCats jam which in case you didn't know is a collection of artist from around the world offering there take on one subject of another in this case the ThunderCats. I've been doing some rough sketches but haven't finalized anything as of yet but it seems that the cats are next on my list. As for today it is Wed. and just as I promised Thor is in the making as I type although it may not be until midnight when I get it finished.

Well today I have to go back to that hellhole I call a job but I 'm gonna try to push out a new pic at least by Wed. night. It's gonna be another superhero because I'm still saving the original stuff for the website. That way I can slap a CC on that stuff. I'm thinking of doing Thor since I found some great reference pics and I'm trying to finally lock down my digital style which at this time seems to be all over the place. The pic up above is just a concept. Things have a funny way of changing on the way from the brain to the hand.

Sorry I haven"t been up to date but I had to work a three day 12. As soon as I recover I'll tell you folks a little bit about why I seem to have had a sudden life change. Also I'm gonna let you in on more of the game plan of the new website.

Late Saturday night my laptop HD went south for good. This doesn't mean that my plans are over just postponed. In light of this event I've taken a second look at the launch time of the new website and changed it to Oct. 31. This will give me a little longer to get things right and will make for one bitchin office party when this thing gets off the ground.

I'd like to thank at this time two people who gave me the push to do this. The first is Robby who I've know for over a year now and has been a good person to bounce ideas off of. The other person is Staticgirl. I just met her though DA and for some reason she also has given me the desire to move ahead with ideas that have been sitting in my head for years now. Once again thank you both.
On another note I've added a poll to see in what direction people would like to see the new website to go.

Moving forward

I've set a name for my upcomming website, of course it's called blackgoatstuidios.com. So from now on this site will be used for sketches and ideas that don't quite fit on the main website. Plus I'll get to still blog about what i feel like on here. Gonna ad a link as soon as the site clears.
